AFP/AAC Newsletter #18 Summer 2014 - page 1

Welcome to all our new members as
well as our existing supporters. I hope
that you find this newsletter informative
as well as helpful. For more in-depth
and detailed information please visit our
website. We are gradually building it to
be as comprehensive a resource as pos-
sible to assist in your pension and other
support dealings with the government.
We hope that both these resources meet
your expectations and if they are lack-
ing please do not hesitate to contact us
and let us know. Suggestions are always
helpful.
The latest committee on the so
called "Pensioners Bill Of Rights" fell
far short of what we expected a many of
the important issues were not suffi-
ciently addressed, i.e. the lump sum
benefit. If we truly want this "Bill" to
give "Just" treatment to pensioners both
now and in the future, then we have to
let our employers, "The MPs", know
that we are dissatisfied with their per-
formance. I would say they deserve a
very low P.E.R. for the year.
Please support us, and most of all
support yourselves, by making your
voices heard in whatever way you wish.
Enjoy the newsletter.
With best regards,
Anthony Huntley CD2
